Hey everyone,

It's been a while since my last post. Anyway, I still wanted to wish you guys a merry christmas so: Merry christmas everyone! For a time I felt like I wasn't into writing so that's why I decided to take a break. Now I'm starting to get in the mood to continue, just on time for new year's eve.

Hey everyone,

Normally I would use this blogpost to mention all my favourite items of this month, but honestly I've been too busy with school to think about my favourite things lately. So I guess I don't have much to talk about right now, except my favourite song. For this month I picked 'Locked out of heaven' by Bruno Mars. I feel like he's soooo talented! Just think about songs like 'Grenade', 'The lazy song' or 'Just the way you are'. We're definitely going to hear more of these amazing songs in the future. His newest song 'Locked out of heaven' slightly reminds me of Reggae music and The Police. It's impossible not to dance or sing when it's all over the radio :-) Anyway, take some time to listen and you'll know what I mean...

* Written in Dutch *

Dag allemaal!

Hey everyone,

This month I decided to look up a few gorgeous make up looks by Hayden Panettiere on the internet. Man have u ever noticed her flawless skin? It almost looks like it's unreal. Lucky for her it isn't.... When looking I realised she looks great with pinks and bronzed skin. Wat do you think? Here's my top 3:

Hey everyone,

I did a little shopping at H&M today to increase my winter wardrobe. There were a lot of cute classy dresses made of thicker materials. Perfect for women who still want to wear dresses around this time of the year. Maybe I'll start to wear more dresses too this winter 'cause I rarely wear that during this period. I also noticed a few typical musthaves pieces this year which all looked so pretty! That's why I came up with the idea to make a summary of this season's musthaves...

Hey everyone,

I'm totally into cozy sweaters and skirts combined with tights since autumn is in town. However I still haven't haven't planned a shopping day so far although I've the feeling that's going to be soon! It's just been pretty hectic for me the last couple of weeks because of several duties which were hard to cancel. Anyway, that doesn't mean I can't make a little fashion tag blog post in the meantime. This is going to be my second one since I already did one last month....

Hey everyone,

Have you noticed those beautiful advertising photos of Lana Del Rey for H&M yet? I think it's absolutely beautiful. I'm not really a person who gets overwhelmed by good advertising easily but this is just incredible! H&M couldn't have asked a better celebrity person for this typical collection. I've always loved Lana Del Rey's singing abilities and fashion style so no wonder I like it so much. I really should be going to a H&M store soon to pick up some of these pieces. Photos of the campaign are added down below...

Hey everyone,

I'm feeling so busy, and it's only the first week that I'm going to school again! I Guess nothing comes easy if you want to become a kindergarten teacher :-). Anyway I now realise that I didn't put a lot of time in my blog this month. I'm sorry for that! I'll definitely post a few more blog posts next month, that's a promise ;-).

Hey everyone,

I'm going back to school since yesterday. I'm in a huge class but it's fun and I'm already looking forward to the internship which is in a couple of months already! Moving on to this blog post: I choose 3 makeup looks by Jennifer Lopez which I think are her most beautiful ones. I'm so happy for her that she made such a successful comeback last year. It must have been very hard to achieve that. Anyhow, here they are...

Hey everyone,

This is going to be a little blog post to show you my newest obsession. When I was in Antwerp last week I (ofcourse) entered Forever21. Something you should definitely check out when you're there is the huge accessories section. Most of their accessories are worth it, but my favourite of the moment are those striking big necklaces. I like them the most when being close to your neck and neutral coloured. These are a few examples:

1. What is your favourite style to wear?

I actually like a lot of fashion styles, but my go-to styles have to be Classy and Boho chic. Fashion styles that I like but not really wear are Romantic, Retro and Preppy. The ones I don't like at all must be Punk, Tomboy and Skater (No offence to all the people who actually like these fashion styles :-D ).

2. Who is your fashion role model?

The first celebrity ever who inspired me has to be Vanessa Hudgens. She wore a lot of gorgeous bohemian ensembles in the past which are to die for! Other role models are the Middleton sisters and Kim Kardashian (FYI: I'm into kim's fashion style, not into her personality).

Hey everyone,

It's the end of the month already! Time to show you all my favourite things for this month right now. Just so you know: I'm going to show all favourite things fashion, beauty and music related. You may recognise a few  items since I showed some of them before. This is it...

Make up

1. Labello Classic care lipbalm:

One of my favourite lipbalms 'cause it stays on way longer than another lipbalm I picked up earlier this month. This has to be my 4th or 5th time I repurchased this lipbalm so that means it has be good.

2. Covergirl smoothers concealer:

Can I say anything wrong about this products? It's very affordable (€4.00), gives great full coverage, it's ofcourse supersmooth :-), and doesn't give that cracked effect on my eyes (FYI: my eye area tends to be dry/normal).

Fashion

My beautiful shopping bag by mango. Love it! Already used it a couple of times to run some errands. It feels very comfortable when wearing it over your shoulder. I've got a similar one too, which reminds me a lot of this one, but this one's prettier :-)

Great book to use as a style guide. I heard there's a similar book coming up by the same author titled 'Beauty'. Very excited for that one too. It's going to be available somewhere at the end of this year.

Music

5. Karmin - Brokenhearted:

Without a doubt my favourite song of this moment. Karmin's actually pretty new to me, but I like them already ;-)

Untill next month!
Enjoy your weekend

Hey everyone,

Katie Holmes is one of those celebrities who's always stunning, no matter where she is, with or without make up. I love her beautiful tanned skin and hazel eyes. Her healthy hair has completely the same colour as mine. Gotta love brunettes! She kinda looks exotic in a way, don't you think? Anyway, since I realised I haven't done a 'top 3 make up looks' blog of her, I decided to do one now...

Hi everyone,

I recently visited a few beautyblogs, and one of the blogposts that caught my eye (because It kept coming back again) was the 'this or that beauty tag'. In this tag bloggers have to choose between 2 products. I really enjoy reading what other bloggers prefer because I think that's a great way to get to know a person better. So I was reading one of them when I suddenly came up with the idea to do one myself :-). Here we go:

Concealer or foundation: I normally choose both, 'cause I definitely have blemishes on my face. Mmm... Probably foundation I think. It makes my skin look more healthy :-)

Lipgloss or lipstick: That's an easy one: lipstick! Most of my lipsticks are quite moisturizing which is a great benefit. I hate it when my hair sticks to my lipgloss but that doesn't mean I never use it...

Bronzer or blush: Definitely bronzer. I rarely use one of these products, but bronzer gives my face at least a  bit more definition, which I prefer over a bit of colour on my cheeks....

Mascara or eyeliner: Well, it depends.... Sometimes I prefer mascara but lately I've been loving eyeliner more. Maybe it's because it's easier to take off. Or maybe it's just because it makes my eyes look totally different in an instant :-). Everytime I apply eyeliner I only  use it on my upper eyelid though...

Brushes or sponges: Brushes for sure. To be honest I never tried/ bought sponges before. I'm pretty sure it's hard to clean and I doubt whether you can use it on hard-to-reach places like the corners of your nose for example...

Neutral or color eyeshadow: I like both, but I feel like neutral colors suit me more. I like to mix brown with grey (Grey on my lid, brown on my crease). That's flattering for basically anyone :-). As for color eyeshadows I mostly pick purple because it's my favorite color and it makes my brown eyes pop. I'll never use yellow since I can't stand that color. For some reason I think it's disgusting and I still haven't found out why. Weird...

Pressed or loose eyeshadow: Mostly I'll use pressed eyeshadows because of 2 simple reasons: I have way more pressed eyeshadows and I'm always afraid loose eyeshadows will get all over my face in a couple of hours which actually happened one time...

More of these kind of tags are coming soon!

Have a great day :-)

Hey everyone,

I decided to show you guys what products I usually apply on my face and body since I've never done a blog like that before. If you're whondering where I mostly buy my face products: at Kruidvat. Kruidvat is a Dutch drugstore which is also available here in Belgium. It basically sells brands like Pantène, Syoss, Nivea, L'oréal, Bourjois, Rimmel,... Anyhow this blog doesn't contain any makeup products, since I don't wear makeup everyday and also because my makeup routine's never exactly the same like the day before. Okay let's get started...

In the morning...

To start off the day I like to use Nivea soft as a moisturiser. It's basically a cream that you can use all over your body. I pick up a little ammount, apply it on my face and neck and I use all what's left over on my hands. I like that it always feels fresh and it also melts easily.

After I shaved my legs, I take the Cherry body butter by The body shop and apply this on my legs and arms (especially on my knees and elbows since those places tend to be very dry).

In the evening...

In the evening I take off my makeup with the Garnier essentials Refreshing cleansing milk. The version that I'm currently using contains raisins, I love the smell! I also use this on my eye area.

After taking off my makeup I take my Nivea visage Clean deeper which is a mild scrub that prevents pimples and other blemishes like blackheads.

Then the next step is something I only do once a week: I'd like to give my face an extra treat by using Herbalism by Lush. Herbalism is a cleanser made of... herbs (ofcourse!). This feels very weird when it's all over your face (like mud or something) but it's very helpful for people with mixed or oily skin.

My day ends with the original Nivea creme. This popular jar is actually way too greasy for me to use in the beginning of the day but it's great as a night cream.

So that was it!

Hope this was helpful for some of you.

I'll talk to you soon ^_^

Hey all,

this time I decided making the 'favourite tune blog' a bit different. Well actually it became a favourite tuneS blog. This is basically going to show my top 3 songs I've been loving the most this month. Although I love Ed Sheeran's new song, I did NOT place it in my top 3. Consider it my 4th favourite song  :-). OK, here we go...

That was it. Ne yo's Let me love you (Remember Mario's epic same-titled song?) is definitely my favourite of this moment. Always loved his his soft voice in so many songs. The wanted is my favourite boysband of the moment and Azealia Banks is ofcourse great because of her amazing rapping skills :-)

oOoOoOoOo

Have a great day, lots of sunshine :-)

See you around

Hey fellas,

Gosh I'm so into gaming right now. I've actually always been into gaming (It started when I was 5) but since the weather's so rainy even more. I picked up New super mario bros and Mario kart for the Wii recently AND I'm planning on ordering Sonic colours soon :-) Wanna know my first mario game ever? Super mario 64, so many good memories :-)

Anyway, Kourtney Kardashian, that's who I'm mainly going to talk about in this blog. Definitely everyone knows the Kardashians. I think most of the people think Kim is the most beautiful of all of them but I have to disagree with them. I find Kourtney more atractive to be honest. I've always tought she looked cuter and more down to earth which is a rare personality to find in America. I think it would be awesome if Kourtney would become an actress or a host because she seems very talented. I truly believe she can become a very good actress or host, with some help ofcourse :-). I did my best trying to find the best makeup looks by her, but it wasn't easy. I almost had to make a top 5 :-). So here's my top 3...

Hey everyone,

I have a quick announcement to make. Yesterday I looked up some information by Lush and discovered that Lush is coming to us! I actually discovered the brand because of a few beauty gurus on youtube. My first visit ever to a store was when I went to Luxemburg with school a year ago. I didn't know Luxemburg even had a lush but I was excited anyway. My second visit to Lush was last year in july, when I did a little shopping in Antwerp. Antwerp is a bit closer from Ghent but I still thought it'd be a better idea when there would be a Lush store here in Ghent, and that's what's going to happen in august. I have no idea what the exact address is, but It's going to be in Langemunt for sure so downtown Ghent, close to all the other interesting stores :-)

I definitely like Lush, but I was never too excited about it because I'm not a big fan of their soaps, bath bombs and their shampoos because they smell a bit odd and too sugary in my opninion. I do love their face products though, like their cleansers, scrubs and face masks (I luv trying out products for my face all the time) :-). Anyway, I'm looking forward to the opening and maybe, just maybe, I'll see you there too...

Have a sunny day
I'll talk to you guys very soon ^_^

Hey everyone,

Today's a hot day again (26°C), so I kept my outfit simple by wearing a pair of black cotton trousers, some cute white sandals and a blue/white striped shirt with a little red purse. Yeah I know,  blue, white and red on the 4th of July while I'm not even american... It actually all started because of my oncle (who has a relationship with my godmother). He lived  in the US while he was in the Army until a couple of years after his duty. I believe he lived in Maryland where he worked at the security service of a bank (probably in Washington DC). Anyway now he's retired and everytime I pay him and my godmother a visit he'd be telling me stories about that time which makes me dream about exploring the US.... So even though I never went to America before, I'd be thrilled to see NY,  the Grand Canyon,... anytime in the future :-).

On to today's topic. I've seen articles in magazines before were they pick out 1 dress, or jeans or whatever and dress it up/down with accesories and shoes to create a bunch of different looks. That kind of inspired me to do the same so that's what this blog is all about :-). I choose 3 random dresses, all from another brand and created 3 completely different outfits with each of them. Enjoy the result (Click on the pictures to enlarge):

Hey everyone,

This month my favourite song's definitely 'Dont wake me up' by Chris Brown, without. a. doubt. Chris did it again! This song would actually be great to wake up with. Hmmm... Enjoy:

Enjoy your weekend ^_^

Hey everyone,

I know I posted a similar blog of long hair a couple of months ago, but I consider this blog a better version of the topic. Anyway...I've always been a very girly girl so the last thing I want is to have short hair. The only time my hair was really short (ear-length) was when I was 5, horrible! My hair has been at shoulder-length for a while but lately I've been trying again to get it longer and these are the tips, that help me, and maybe you too, to achieve this.

1
First of all it's very important to start off with healthy hair, meaning no split ends. It IS possible to achieve long hair with split ends, but your hair will look very dry and it will also break easily. To maintain this, go see your hairdresser every 6-8 weeks. Also don't forget to mention that your hairdresser should only cut the ends...

2
Reduce the use of hair devices such as a blowdryer, a straight iron,... The heat damages your hair which is something you better avoid as much as possible if you really want your hair to become longer. Same rule for dying your hair....

3
Many people don't know this, but hairspray is one of the worst hairproducts. Ofcourse there are a lot of hairproducts who are bad for your hair, but hairspray has to be the worst of 'em all. If you're really into hairspray, try using organic hairsprays or hairprays with other natural extracts in it (like the Garnier fructis bamboo hairspray for example).

4
As for hairproducts: Some products give your hair a boost. For example conditioner. Conditioner helps the ends of your hair get stronger, which means it will take longer before split ends will show up. Use a conditioner everytime you was your hair, only at the ends. Another great thing that helps your hair is a hair mask. You can apply this all over your hair and rinse it after a couple of minutes. It is important you never apply conditioner when you're using a hair mask! Use a hair mask once a week.

5
Eat healthy. I know this is hard to do when your life's so hectic, but it's the best for your hair. Foods rich in vitamin A (dairy products, fish, spinach, apricots), vitamin B (meat, fish, bananas, leafy green vergetables), vitamin C (citrus, melon, tomatoes and potatoes) and vitamin E (nuts, broccoli, whole grains) are essential for truly healthy hair*

But remember: the best way to get longer hair is to be patient.
So try out these tips and enjoy your long hair ^_^

Hey everyone,

Exams are finally over. It's about time 'cause I started to get really tired the last couple of days. I have the weird habit to study at night sometimes. I don't do this too much because otherwise I start to get too tired and that would kill me, but I found out that studying at night helps me to focus better....

Over to today's topic which are Naya's favourite makeup looks. For those of you who don't know her; she's the one playing Santana on 'Glee', my favourite TV-show so far which I'm OBSESSED with. Santana is best described as... well a cheerleading bitch actually, who shows some emotions every once in awhile, but I love her character though. Lately I've been watching all the episodes of Season 3 on the internet (because in Belgium season 3 didn't start yet). I try to watch 1 or 2  episodes a week 'cause  if I'd go crazy, I would watch 'em all at once ^_^- lol. What I love so much about Naya is her beautiful olive skin (since she has Mexican roots) and her sexy dark eyes. I've got brown eyes myself too, but they aren't as dark as hers  >_<. Anyway these are a few makeup looks I've found recently which, I believe, suit her perfectly.

Hey everyone,

All my exams for this week are finished. Another 6 to go... Anyway I wanted to write this blog yesterday but was too busy studying. It's time for my favourite song of the month again :-). This month I adore 2 songs actually so it was hard to make a choice, but I finally choose 'RIP' by Rita Ora and Tinie Tempah to be my favourite song. The other song I love as well is 'Hapiness' by Sam sparro (That disco-beat is soooo irresistable!). Btw have u noticed how much Rita Ora looks like Rihanna? She reminds me so much of her. They could be cousins or something.

Have a great weekend ^_^

Hey everyone,

I recently (meaning the day before yesterday) found a very interesting website by accident. I was looking up some information about a certain TV-show and ended up on a website which makes it possible to watch all kinds of popular american TV-shows for free! And the best part of it was when I discovered glee on the site as well :-) You can watch all 3 seasons which is amazing 'cause here in Belgium season 3 didn't even start yet. And like I said before there's more to watch than Glee only. Famous TV-shows like 'Desperate Housewives', 'Ellen Degeneres Show', 'Gossip Girl', 'Bones', 'House M.D.', 'Modern Family' and other programs are also available!

Anwyay I really wanted to tell you guys about this website 'cause I think it might be a very interesting website for basically anyone who loves american TV-shows. Who doesn't love them actually???

Enjoy watching your programs :-)

XoXo, Lillabiss

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since my last blog post. That's simlpy because I'm getting busy studying for my exams soon :-). But between classes and studying, I've finally found some time to think of you, so here's my new blog. This month I wanted to opt for Keira knightley as a subject because I recently saw 'The Duchess' on french television. Although I couldn't really understand it well (I prefer French subtitles in stead of dubbing), it was a beautiful story. A bit sad maybe but still... I also found out she's officially engaged with a guy named James Righton since yesterday. With a new film on the way and her engagement she couldn't be any happier. So here's my top 3 makeup looks of the British actress...

Have a sunny weekend and stay safe!

Hey everyone,

The weather has been sooooo beautiful today. The sun was shining all day long and the temperature was very pleasant. That's why I decided to wear a blue dress today which I bought the day before yesterday to visit my friends. And one thing I always see when I'm out is that almost any woman/girl wears trousers or jeans in like 95% of the cases. I personally think it's a pity 'cause there's nothing more feminine than wearing a beautiful flowy dress and it's also very comfortable when it's getting hot outside. Also (and this is something   I see a lot by men too) is that almost every person out there usually wears dark, gloomy clothing, except for most teenage girls.

I think that must change because it's like we Belgians are very pesimistic and believe me, that's not true. We love laughing and having a good time, so why do we dress ourselves so gloomy then? I wonder.... Anwyay I'm one of those people who's definitely going to change that by being an example for others. I took some time finding a few (of many) gorgeous dresses on the internet. I really hope this is going to inspire you and more people to start wearing bright colourful clothes and dresses as well....
