Hey everyone,
It's been a while since my last post. Anyway, I still wanted to wish you guys a merry christmas so: Merry christmas everyone! For a time I felt like I wasn't into writing so that's why I decided to take a break. Now I'm starting to get in the mood to continue, just on time for new year's eve.
I don't know where you guys celebrated christmas eve, but I took the time to spend it with my mom. For the first time ever I decided to buy all our groceries for the evening in our local supermarket. Normally we have the tendency to order a few (or sometimes all) groceries at a caterer. The reason why I absolutely didn't want to do that this time was basically to challenge myself to be creative. That evening I prepared our whole meal (starters, main course and dessert) all by myself which I'm really proud of. Okay maybe the dessert was easy (vanille ice cream with chocolate sauce on top of it), but the preparation of the salmon for example was tricky. At the end of our courses my mom congratulated me saying it was 'very creative and super delicious'. I even took care of the decoration: folding napkins, placing tea lights, setting the table,... At the end of the night me and my mom took the time to open our presents: I gave her a gift card by a store she enters frequently and she gave me 2 games for my consoles: Just Dance 4 and Sonic generations. My presents weren't that surprising actually, I already wanted them for a while now. Even my dog got a present: A big dog bone :-).
