Hey everyone,
I did a little shopping at H&M today to increase my winter wardrobe. There were a lot of cute classy dresses made of thicker materials. Perfect for women who still want to wear dresses around this time of the year. Maybe I'll start to wear more dresses too this winter 'cause I rarely wear that during this period. I also noticed a few typical musthaves pieces this year which all looked so pretty! That's why I came up with the idea to make a summary of this season's musthaves...
Tops with no cleavage/ high collar tops
Tops, blouses or dresses with a high enclosure are back; They were already a hit during the spring and summertime and they're still very poplar around this time of the year. These kind of tops are recommended for women with small breasts.
Peplum tops
These peplum tops or peplum dresses look very feminine and make you look like you have a defined waist. It's very '80s looking but it has also been a trend in the past.
Knitted sweaters
These sweaters always come back during the winter time. Tey're warm, cosy and easy to dress up or dress down.
Cotton/ Wool shorts
We all know hotpants, tiny shorts in denim, but lately cotton shorts or wool shorts (mostly very chic looking) are becoming very popular these days. Rachel Berry from Glee played by Lea michele is a great example of someone who wears these shorts with style and confidence. Ofcourse this is only recommended for people with slim legs.
Snoods
Snoods are basically scarves with no end. They're very practical because you put them on in an instant and as most of you know I adore cosy sarves so I already got two of these.
Straight dresses
These dresses were invented around 1920 and are very flattering for women with an hourglass shaped body. This kind of dress mostly ends above the knee and is great for lots of occassions. The T-shirt dress is quite similar to this one but looks more casual.
♥ ♥ ♥
Enjoy your weekend 'cause I'll enjoy mine.
XoXo, Kimberley
